In His Time

 

It was our first day out! 

Nothing holding us back. 

Nothing calling us back. 

Free to explore

Free to change plans with no one or thing to affect. 

As we started the trail, it was beautiful! Everything just kept getting more and more restful. The whole trail was downhill, following a rushing stream. 

Soon we reached the bottom and got to the reservoir, yet the trail kept going. We decided to proceed and soon found that the trail went from tall thriving pine trees and scant flora to rushing aspens, wild flowers, and solidary burnt pines. There was beauty all around. It just looked different. As we kept trekking along the aspen grove, I floated the question: How many sermons could you do relating to aspens? 

Community - we hold each other up!  Change - necessary change allows for full life Community - we are all a part of the same body. 

Regrowth - beauty from pain 

Modern - vine and branches

Support - God as our root system 

However this thought kept going through my head… all in His time. 

… Lord this is in your time.

You heal these trees… in your time. 

You heal this land… in your time. 

You bring flowers and seasons… in your time. 

You will bring our first Duty Station… in your time. 

You will bring us back together… in your time. 

You will… ____ … in your time.
